The Grand Opening of Klinik Lespwa!

Dear Supporters of CHMM,

On Saturday, July 20th, 2024, we celebrated the Grand Opening of Klinik Lespwa! As patients began lining up, they were welcomed by balloons and Praise music being blasted over loud speakers. After a time of worship and a message given reminding them to be thankful for how God has answered their prayers and given them hope for the future in providing a church, a school, and now a medical clinic! It was my honor to be able to welcome them and then introduce all the staff who would be caring for them. 

Dr. Pheles, on the left, is our medical director. He is a pediatric specialist and has worked at our temporary clinics almost every year that we have taken a team to Haiti. Dr. Ceant is a generalist and new to our team. We also have a licensed nurse, two assistant nurses, a lady to guide the patients to the correct place, 2 security guards, a housekeeper, and a pastor to pray with our patients. On the right you see my right hand, Pastor Bastia, who has been the one in Haiti to make everything happen! Praise God for His provision and guidance.

The staff worked overtime that day seeing and treating 101 patients! It was a great day and everyone worked hard to make it happen. We are so thankful to have them. The clinic will now be open every Saturday from 8:00 to 5:00, meeting the needs of the people in Caneille. What a blessing!
